Alex is an Australian Naturopath whose areas of expertise include clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). She is a member of both the Australian Naturopathic Association and Australian Traditional Medicine Society. She offers individualised treatment plans for adults and children, covering a broad range of health issues:

-       Allergies and skin disorders

-       Immune deficiencies

-       Weight loss

-       Stress, sleep issues, anxiety, panic attacks, and mood imbalances

-       Women’s health, including hormonal issues, fertility, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS

Alex is keen on finding the root causes of her patients’ health conditions and treating each of them person in a gentle and holistic way. “I have always believed everyone possesses the innate ability to heal themselves, and my job as a Naturopath is to identify and help remove the factors preventing this from happening,” explains Alex. “Essentially, helping re-ignite your body’s own flame so that you can feel vital and strong again.”

Her strong interest in natural medicine began in London over 15 years ago, when she experienced how transformational a change in diet and lifestyle could be to treat her own health conditions. By removing certain items in her diet and adding targeted nutritional support, she was able to heal a myriad of digestive and immune issues she had been battling for years.  This cemented a love for natural medicine and cultivated the yearning to help others by becoming a Naturopath.

“I feel so blessed to be working in this profession. I truly love helping others find and connect to their own vitality and inner healing,” says Alex, who completed her degree in Naturopathy from Nature Care College and also received clinical training under Dr Benita Perch (ND) at IMI.

Alex especially enjoys working with families. Having worked for many years in the financial sector while balancing a family and kids of her own, she understands first-hand the impact that stress can have, not only on an individual, but also on the family as a whole. She believes in a balanced approach to life, nurturing a love for food and cooking with her clients. She is passionate in guiding parents on how to create simplicity and balance; providing clever, simple ways to feed their family nutritious and delicious meals and sharing tools to help combat stressors arising in daily life.
